Tom 24, was a junior star with both Crewe and Bury before he took the big decision to follow a career in golf.
He was also a junior golf member at Hazel Grove and his love for golf saw him take up the role of assistant professional at Bramall Park where he passed his PGA qualification.
He moved recently to Marple Golf Club where he will work with the professional David Myers
Tom is very keen to develop the teaching side of being a golf professional and as well as individual lessons at Marple he is also looking to do group coaching at the Moorend Driving Range near Woodford.
Marple Golf Club have also established links for golf development with local schools and colleges and have a great reputation for producing top junior golfers over recent years.
