Matthew takes over at Romiley
MATTHEW Ellis took over the reins as the new professional Romiley Golf Club last November after being their assistant professional for the past four years.
Previous professional Lee Sullivan has moved to Playgolf at the Trafford Centre to concentrate full time on teaching.
Matthew 28, has organised hugely successful junior coaching courses at Romiley for the past three years and it is an area that he will continue to develop to maintain the proud record of producing a thriving junior section at the club.
He added: “I will be looking to play in a limited number of professional competitions such as the Manchester Alliance and the Tamsel Tour but my main duties will be focussed on the Romiley club.
