THE Oldham Ladies Golf Association are all ready for the new season and the Lady Captains of the five clubs involved met up to ensure that all the arrangements for their fixtures etc are firmly in place.
Their first ‘major’ is for the Chronicle Cup, which is being hosted by Crompton and Royton in their Centenary season on May 28.
Saddleworth will host the second big competition, which is the Joan Hirst Charity Cup on September 19.
OLGA official Majorie Bray said: “Now that the weather has improved we are looking for bumper attendances from all clubs for our events and some great competition.”
