DAVENPORT GOLF
Club have won the coveted Manchester Alliance White Cup for Mixed Foursomes
for the first time in their long history. At last there was a hint of Spring in the air at the traditional and attractive venue of Chorlton Golf Club who were looking to retain the trophy won last year by professional David Valentine and Gail Hegarty. But it was not to be as the club went to the pro am pairing of Davenport assistant pro Graham Cox and his partner Lynda Lomax who carded 34 points to finish second in the pro am section. |
