Alliance Knock Out Competitions 2008

THE draws for the preliminary rounds for the four Manchester Alliance Inter Club competitions have been made and circulated to all clubs.

There is also included a note reference to the handicap allowances directive from the English Golf Union which affect these competitions.

The competitions will start later in the year for 2008 in line with requests from several clubs enabling them to play in hopefully better course conditions.

But this does mean that matches have to be arranged and played promptly as there will be less time available.

The Dunham Forest Trophy has another big entry and holders Wychwood Park are through to round one having received a bye.
