Local pro Phil Archer (Birchwood) led in
the individual professionals with a fine haul of 41 points in his five-under
return but he was only a point clear of consistent Steve Parry (Hart Common)
and Order of Merit leader Graham Cox (Davenport). Another Alliance stalwart Peter Barber (Didsbury) enjoyed the first-time partnership of club colleague and master putter Chris Cyprus as they amassed 46 points to win a cpo from Steve Parry and Hart Common partner Tony Roberts to be top dogs in the pro am section. |

Next in on 45 points were Mark Bradley
from Chorley and playing partner Alan Torkington from Swinton Park.
