Business Ladies Team Rules Season 2006 |

Teams shall consist of three players with
handicaps of 36 or less. Any player having a handicap over 30 shall play
off 30. The Fee (payable to East Cheshire Shield) for entering a Business Ladies Team shall be £5 and the Club must have entered an East Cheshire Handicap B team to qualify to enter a Business Ladies’ team. Teams shall consist of players who cannot normally play in East Cheshire Shield or Plate teams, and they cannot play on an East Cheshire Shield or Plate team, in the same week as a Business Ladies’ match. (week commences Monday). In cases of difficulty fielding a Business Ladies’ Team, one Reserve can be taken from a Shield or Plate team, providing they have not played in a Shield or Plate match in that week. Clubs shall be divided into Groups, each Club playing six matches (3 at home and 3 away). The Groups shall be drawn so that each Club shall play a near Club, a middle distance Club and a farther away Club. Matches to be played in the evenings and week-ends. Week-ends must be available for the “farther away” matches. Catering arrangements to be discussed at the time the match is fixed. All matches in the Groups must be played by the dates specified, and the dates for the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final are set by the Hon. Secretary. The manner of the Play off matches to decide the Winners to be decided by the Committee, whose decision is final. |
