WGTB Days Out at Heaton Moor

Welsh Invaders Take The Spoils

WGTB Days out regulars Eifion Howatson and Matthew Williams from Denbigh showed their weatherproof qualities as they eased to a one point win in the fourth Days Out of the Season at wet and windy Heaton Moor.

One consolation for all those who had to endure inclement weather on course was the warmth of the clubhouse welcome with great hot meals a real treat to aid recovery from the travails of the golf.

The Welsh paramedic duo posted an impressive 44 points to finish ahead of Dennis Torr (Fairfield) and his brother Sam of Ashton-under-Lyne, who won a cpo from Peter Walsh (Bramhall) and Keith Roberts (Disley).
