Beautiful Brookdale Provides A Golfing Treat |
BROOKDALE Golf Club is a real hidden gem
just four miles from Manchester City Centre in the scenic Medlock Valley. And it provided a terrific day both on and off the course with perfect weather for the full field of ladies who were competing in the Cardrona Ladies Pairs Classic, many for the first time at Brookdale with several vowing to return to face its challenge again with the club’s ‘Two for One’ vouchers each pair received. Early starters Valerie Hall and Madge Millett from Crompton and Royton set the pace with a blistering 42 points and although many other pairs came close it eventually went to a cpo against Gil Hudson of Chapel en le Frith and Lynne Leutton of Stockport to decide the outcome of the top prize. |
