Rochdale Golf Clubs Dennis Babbs and Ken Barton secured third place with 41 Point after a cpo which left Swinton Park Captain David Torkington and partner Mike Turner to pick up fourth prize.
The real winner was Swinton Park Golf Club which despite the current monsoon conditions produced a course in outstanding condition for the Balfour Seniors which enjoyed a full field for the 2008 competition.
