Seniors Success For Worsley Pairing

Dave Pickles and Peter Jordan made the home advantage tell as they conquered the pace of the Worsley greens to card a 44 points total in the Balfour Seniors Event.

Hot on their heels were the Swinton Park duo of Bernard Kirkby and Fred Parks who made the runners-up spot after a card play off from the Bury pairing of Simpson and Foster.

A full field enjoyed a great day out at Worsley who as always made the visitors to the club most welcome, especially after the trials and tribulations that some of the competitors experienced in negotiating the round network around the M60 following accidents and road works en-route.
