Gabby Bohajczuk became the first girl to win the Junior Balfour Trophy in its 54 year history with a sparkling round of 67 nett.
Playing as a late entry into the competition the 27 handicapper from Mellor & Townscliffe made good use of course knowledge to win her first ever competition winning by three shots from Davyhulme Parks Sam Garnett.

Third and Fourth place was decided by cpo with Dominic Thorp of Worsley Golf Club edging out Tom Statham from the home club both players finishing on 69.
The Best Gross Prize was taken by Johnny Wright from Denton Golf Club with a superb score of 75.
