Withington Golf Club who last hosted the event some forty years ago will no doubt remember the 2008 event for the remarkable score and even more remarkable speech given by Dennis on the day.
The Best Gross Prize went to Flixton's Marc McLelland who shot a fine 70 to win the coveted award on a card play off from Jason Davis of Sale.
The competition attracted a field of over 150 players from 21 clubs for this years competition which received universal praise from the competitors for it’s organisation by the B & H committee and the excellent condition of the course at Withington Golf Club.
